This explains what Stream Presence collects, why we have it, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. It covers both people who visit this site and creators who run their channel on the platform.

If you only visit the site

Browsing does not create an account and does not set a tracking cookie. There is no analytics service, no advertising pixel and no session recording on this site.

The enquiry form

If you send an enquiry we store what you typed: your channel, the contact you gave us, and your message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Your IP address is held in memory for about twenty seconds to stop the same person filing the same enquiry repeatedly. It is not written to the database.

If you run a channel on the platform

Your Twitch account

You sign in with Twitch. We receive your display name, login and Twitch user id, and access tokens that let the bot act on your channel with the permissions you granted. Tokens are stored so the bot can reconnect without you signing in every time, and you can revoke them from your Twitch account settings at any point.

Your channel's chat

The bot reads your chat live to do the things you switched on: moderation, commands, loyalty coins, chat games, polls and timers. Most of that is processed and discarded. What we keep is the running totals your features need, for example a viewer's loyalty balance, their watch time, and a log of moderator actions that drives the mod board.

Your viewers are not our users, and they cannot sign in here. If one of them wants their balance and history removed, ask us and we will remove it from your channel's data.

What you build

Overlay layouts, widgets, scenes, commands, timers, sounds, store products and site content are stored so the platform can serve them. Each channel gets its own separate database schema, so one creator's data is not mixed in with another's.

Your store

If you sell merch, payments run through Stripe or PayPal. Card details are handled by them and never reach our servers. We store what an order needs: what was bought, the buyer's name and delivery address, and their email so they can be told when it ships.

Cookies

We use cookies only where the site cannot work without them, so there is no consent banner to click through. There are no advertising, analytics or profiling cookies anywhere on this platform.

Who else sees your data

We use a small number of services to run the platform. Each one only gets what it needs.

We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we never have.

Fonts

The typefaces on this site are served from our own servers, not from Google Fonts. Loading a page here does not tell Google, or anyone else, that you visited.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the UK or the EU, the UK GDPR and the GDPR give you those rights, and you may also complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, you may ask what we collect and ask us to delete it, and we do not sell your data.

Email privacy@streampresence.com and we will answer within thirty days.

Changes

If we start collecting something new, or add a service that sees your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant we will tell creators directly rather than relying on you noticing.

Questions about any of this go to privacy@streampresence.com.
